Terms & Content Rules

PairlyHonest exists to give au pairs and host families honest, useful information. To keep it that way, every reviewer and reviewee agrees to these rules.

What you may not post

• No false statements presented as facts. If you can't substantiate it, share it as your personal experience.
• No personal attacks, slurs, or insults. Critique behaviour, not people.
• No private or confidential information. No home addresses, phone numbers, full surnames of children, photos of minors, immigration status, or medical details.
• No threats, harassment, or doxxing.
• No discriminatory content based on race, religion, nationality, gender, or sexual orientation.

Right to reply

Every reviewed person or family has the right to publish one public response per review on their profile. We encourage calm, factual replies — the same content rules apply.

Anonymous reviews

Anonymous reviews require a one-time €20 fee per review. Your name is hidden from public view, but we retain the link internally so we can act on reports. Anonymous does not mean unaccountable — the rules above still apply, and we may remove abusive anonymous content.

Membership & billing

Posting reviews and creating profiles requires an active membership (€10/month or €99/year). You can cancel anytime; your access continues until the end of the period you've paid for. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details.

Reporting & moderation

Anyone can report a review. Reports are reviewed against these rules. Confirmed violations are removed, and repeat offenders may be suspended without refund.
